No matter where you come from, your race, your religion, your background, we all live on this Earth. We all eat, sleep, and breath, in the same place that our ancestors have, and I would say will continue to (but you never know with science...) If the struggle of what we're doing to the planet can't bring us all together, then I don't know what will.
When I first started this blog my mission was to support as many expats as possible with their moves, and give them some guidance and support to get them through this huge event in their lives. Only a couple of days ago when I was talking to a friend of mine who recently moved from Dubai to Paris, did I realise that I hadn't addressed a very important subject that related to moving and being an expat. And that is how to make new friends, and deal with just being the 'new girl/boy'.
So as you might have seen, I went back to London during Spring Break, and even though I was stressing out about my upcoming exams, I still managed to get out the house and find some really amazing places. If you're familiar with my blog, you'll know that I pride myself on finding new and exciting places to visit, ones that aren't super 'touristy' and busy. So that's just what I did during this trip, I mean these places aren't exactly secret, but hopefully some of these are new to you that you can visit this spring.
I made the switch to using clean beauty products this year, and being more aware of what I'm putting on my skin and my body. I realised that I make such an effort to fill my body with nutritious and healthy food, when I cover it with products full of toxins and all kinds of chemicals, which is kind of hypocritical. And I know, clean beauty seems like it's all the rage right now, with more and more brands claiming to be 'organic' or 'natural', but if you find real clean beauty products, you will soon realise this whole clean beauty regime is not a fad, it really truly does work.
I think this month's posts have to be some of my favourite posts I've ever written. The 'Words From Inspirational Women' post is really meaningful makes you see a different perspective. The 'Finding Happiness' post that I wrote last week is also a post that is very close to my heart, and while I put my heart into all of my posts, this one is really special to me. Please do let me know what you think if you take a look at them.
