I know that for most of us, no matter what school curriculum we're in, it has got to that point in the year when summer is so close... but we have to get through exams first! I'm a high school junior, so this is the biggest and most stressful year for me, and I'm sure [...]
A few weeks ago I was scrolling through my Pinterest feed and all these photos of freshly baked muffins, granola bars, and the most mouth-watering salads I've ever seen kept popping up. And maybe looking at photos of food when you're very hungry (as I always am) isn't the best idea... but I thought it got me inspired to start cooking and baking again!
I hope you all had an amazing summer, wherever you spent it! And I really hope you enjoyed reading about my summer adventures and reading all the content I created for you guys! With it being back to school season, I wanted to share some important pieces of advice for going into this school year. But... I thought it might be interesting to hear what other people have to say as well! I asked a few other bloggers/Instagrammers what their number one piece of advice for going back to school is, and I compiled them into one huge back to school advice guide! They all had great advice to share, and even as I was putting this guide together I found myself thinking, wow... I should do that this year! So I hope you find this guide as useful as I do!
And for this Birthday I wanted to do something meaningful, I didn't want to receive lots of fancy gifts. I asked anyone who was going to get me a gift, to donate what they would have spent on me to UNICEF on my fundraising site instead because that's something that really makes a difference to people that need it. Along with the fundraising, I also wanted to write this post, and share 16 of the most valuable lessons I've learned in 16 years of being alive, so here they are.
It was a dream of mine to start a blog for a really long time, and more than that I just wanted to help other expats who were going through the same thing I had just experienced. But it took a lot of courage to start this blog and share my writing with others because I was scared of what other people would say and of their reactions to my writing. But I am so happy that I decided to share my experiences on this blog, and your positive responses, messages, and comments have really made it all worth it.
Overall, I think that beauty just comes from who you are and nurturing what you already have. Not from covering up everything, and changing who you are. And that's one of the reasons I love Evolve Beauty, their products allow you to care for what you already have, without damaging your skin or changing who you are. As they promise, Evolve Beauty products are natural and organic, artisan made, they follow 'green science' which means they're free from synthetics, they're vegan, cruelty-free, and their packaging is recyclable. But most importantly, they celebrate your beauty and the beauty of nature.
