This winter was my first visit to Byron Bay, and I'm pretty sure it's not going to be my last! I loved spending each day waking up early, walking down to the beach, and eating so much delicious food at some very cute cafes. Before I got to visit Byron Bay, I had seen so many bloggers on Instagram visit this place and eat some great looking food. So by the time I actually visited Byron Bay, I had an extremely long list of all the places I wanted to go to. As you know if you've been reading my blog for a while, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. So naturally, most of the places we tried out were really great breakfast and brunch places. I hope you enjoy seeing photos of the food as much as I loved eating it!
Back in the summer, you may recall that I was hinting at a lot of exciting content that was coming soon, and this is one of the posts! If you remember, my sixteenth birthday was during the summer holidays, and something I really wanted for my birthday was a 'blogging board'. I had seen quite a few bloggers using them, and I really wanted to take my photography skills to a new level over the summer. So after hours of pouring over online stores, and different paint samples, I finally decided on my blogging board.
I made the switch to using clean beauty products this year, and being more aware of what I'm putting on my skin and my body. I realised that I make such an effort to fill my body with nutritious and healthy food, when I cover it with products full of toxins and all kinds of chemicals, which is kind of hypocritical. And I know, clean beauty seems like it's all the rage right now, with more and more brands claiming to be 'organic' or 'natural', but if you find real clean beauty products, you will soon realise this whole clean beauty regime is not a fad, it really truly does work.
I can't believe that January is already over, that went really quickly! This month has been a very busy one, with new years resolutions, starting school again, the end of one semester, and being well into the Cross Country Season. In this post, I'm going to share with you what products I've been using a lot this month, and what I'm loving. And I'll also share what's been going on in my life, and what's coming in February. I hope you enjoy!
So today I decided to write the second post in my ‘Hidden Gems of Dubai' series In this post I’m going to introduce you to some local Dubai/UAE businesses, and tell you why I love them. Personally, I prefer to buy from smaller, more local shops, not only because you are supporting a small business, but also you find more unique and fun items. I actually wrote about one of my favorite boutiques, Charlie The Shop in my Summer Favourites post (click here to read it), but for a while, I found it hard to find stores like this in Dubai.
So summer is really truly coming to an end *cries* but this summer has been a great one and I have definitely checked off a lot off my summer bucket list! To wrap up the summer I wanted to share a few of my summer favorites with you because this summer has been quite a minimalistic summer for me and I have stuck to the quality over quantity rule. In other words, I've found a few products that I absolutely love and those are all I've been using. So... since I love these products so much I thought it might be cool for you guys to see them!
