I’m a teenage expat, which means that I’ve lived in different places, and moved all across the globe. I like to think of myself as this complex patchwork quilt; with pieces from all around the world coming together to make me the person who I am, an expat.
I think being an expat is something really amazing, moving from your home country, and experiencing something completely different and new, is hard but really worth it. And that is why I want to pay credit to us expats. Each month, I want to feature one of your stories on this blog and allow you to share some of your ‘expat wisdom’ with this whole family.
If you’re an expat, or a Third Culture Kid, or even someone who just has a story to share, please feel free to reach out to me. I would really love to hear your story and share it on this blog! You do not have to be a blogger to participate in this, I would love to hear any expat stories, and share #ExpatWisdom all around the world.
So share this page on your social media with #ExpatWisdom to spread the message! Imagine the community we could create here: hearing each other’s stories, and sharing and receiving advice!
If you would like to be a part of this initiative, all you have to do is reach out to me and let me know. You can fill out the form here, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or DM me @little.miss.expat.
You can read previous Expat Wisdom posts by clicking the title on the home page.
I’m really looking forward to hearing from you all!
