Hello everyone! In this week’s post I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite student discounts that have helped me save money ever since becoming a university student. There are so many companies out there that offer special discounts for students, which is amazing! I know that when I finally get to go to campus and I have to buy everything for my dorm room these discounts will be super useful
Student discounts are not only for fashion or beauty brands, but there are also a bunch of discounts that help you with general everyday life! I’m excited to share them with you.
I could not live without my Spotify account! I pretty much listen to music or podcasts all day everyday, especially now that I’m doing online school. Spotify is a really great platform, but the premium subscription can be a little pricey. With premium, you can skip as many songs as you like and you don’t have to listen to any ads. With a premium student account, Spotify gives you 50% off for up to 4 years, which is an amazing deal! All you have to do is follow the instructions on their site to prove that you’re a student.
The Prime Student discount allows you to sign up for a free 6 months trial before paying the 50% discounted price! The Prime discount gives you extra fast & free delivery, access to tv shows, movies, lots of books, and cheaper textbook rentals. With this membership you also get all of the Amazon Prime discounts and deals as well!
Audible is an app where you can listen to audiobooks and it’s super popular among students if you’re interested in listening to your books rather than reading them! Once you verify your student status, you can save over 30% and you receive $10 Amazon credit. With the student discount you get 3 books each month, audio-guided workouts, and the option to speed up the narration of audiobooks.
The New York Times
The New York Times is by far my favorite newspaper to subscribe to! With their student discount you only pay $2.00 every 4 weeks for the basic subscription which is an amazing deal! For me, the basic subscription includes everything that I need, but you can also pay $6.00 every 4 weeks for the all access subscription.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud encompasses all the adobe apps such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator etc… I use these apps all the time for this blog, and for any student who’s looking to get into blogging they’re a great resource. If you hurry the Black Friday student discount gives you up to 70% off which is such an amazing deal.
Apple does not have a blanket student discounts like some of the ones that I’ve listed above, however, they do have certain discounts for different items that change throughout the year. Normally, they run a lot of student discounts during the back to school season, but you can always check what’s running on their site.
Headspace is a really amazing meditation app! I went through a phase where I used this app everyday – I should probably get back into that habit. The student discount means that you only pay $9.99 per year compared to the regular $69.99! That is such a good discounted price!
This is by far the biggest student discount in this post, and one that you need to check out! UniDays is a platform that brings together lots of exclusive student discounts to all the stores you could possibly think of. They have fashion, beauty, food, health, lifestyle, technology, and sports discounts. Some of the companies included are: Zaful, Asos, Hollister, New Balance, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Uber Eats, Dell, Disney +, and Samsung. The discounts on UniDays are constantly updated to reflect the deals that are currently running. All you have to do is verify your student status to unlock all these discounts. Seriously it’s a money-saving treasure trove!
I hope this list of student discounts was useful! While I haven’t had the start to college that I had hoped to, once I’m on campus and living a normal day-to-day life I know that these discounts will come in useful!
See you next week,
